Sinnis Apache to Mongolia

Sinnis Apache embarks on a voyage across 12 countries

IN an attempt to prove that you don't need the most expensive kit to achieve a motorcycle adventure, Sinnis' marketing man will ride the firms Apache 125 supermoto to Mongolia.

Anthony Jackson, from the Brighton based Sinnis Motorcycles will set off across 12 countries to Mongolia in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma research. The aim is to cover 240 miles per day taking in some of the toughest terrain over mainland Europe, Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

"I never planned to undertake such a huge task initially," said Anthony, "But what better way to raise money for charity while at the same time pushing my boundaries and demonstrating that you don’t need a £20,000 motorcycle to get within a whisper of China.”

Anthony's Apache will be pretty much bog-standard with the only modifications being a heavy duty chain to cope with the 6-7 week ride and a rack fitted to carry 30 kilos of gear.
