The Yamaha UK dealer awards saw Raceways Yamaha receive Outstanding Brand Ambassador for its efforts in the British Superbike Championship.

Raceways had run the official Yamaha team in BSB, with McAMS backing, since the Shaun Muir Racing squad that won the title in 2015 (the first year of the previous-generation Yamaha R1) moved to WorldSBK with BMW (a manufacturer for which, after a spell with Aprilia, SMR is now the operator of the factory team) the following year.

The crowning moment for Raceways as the official Yamaha UK team in BSB was, of course, its title-winning season with Tarran Mackenzie in 2021.

Although Raceways will not run its own team in BSB this year, it will still provide support to Yamaha teams in the paddock, while the official duties for Yamaha are taken up by OMG Racing (which won the 2022 BSB title with Bradley Ray), while the Mar-Train team, with new signing Danny Kent and new McAMS backing, will receive Yamaha support through OMG.

In addition to Raceways winning the Outstanding Brand Ambassador award at the award ceremony (the same event which the R1 discontinuation news seems to have come from), Crescent Motorcycles - which runs the Pata Prometeon Yamaha team with Andrea Locatelli and new signing Jonathan Rea in WorldSBK, whose 2024 season begins this weekend in Phillip Island - was given the Excellence in Marketing Engagement Award.

Other awards went to Mott Motorcycles for salesforce engagement, MES Powersports for Outstanding Marketing Event, Tamworth Yamaha for Outstanding Visual Identity Implementation, Alf England Motorcycles for Yamaha Training Academy Distinction, Alford Bros for customer service, Flitwick Motorcycles for parts and accessories, and finally Tinklers for Yamalube sales.
