HUSQVARNA dealer, Freestyle Motorcycles of East Sussex havey donated a new Husqvarna Nuda 900 toSERV Kent.
SERV, also known as 'Bloodrunners', is a charitable organisation that delivers blood products to the Accident and Emergency hospitals acrossSouthern Englandat night, free of charge, whenever and wherever it's urgently needed.
Over £2,000 was raised to help purchase the bike, with £1,000 coming fromJames Burroughs who works for Freestyle Motorcycles and competed in the Scottish Six Day Trial in May this year to raise the money. The other £1,000 came from various charity donations. Freestyle then covered all other costs relating to the bike.
John Kidd, SERV Kent Secretary said: “We are extremely grateful to Freestyle Motorcycles and James Burroughs for their efforts in securing us a new bloodbike. The Husqvarna Nuda 900 will now be used to save lives all over Kent and will help our volunteers to save lives.”
