Biker in court for giving the 'Vs' to motorists

A SCOTTISH motorcyclist is likely to be prosecuted for taking both hands off his vehicle's handlebar to make rude gestures at drivers behind, says thisisaberdeen.co.uk.

Nineteen-year-old Phillip Stephen sped along Aberdeen's Beach Boulevard in the summer.

His case called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where he previously admitted careless driving.

Stephen, of 260 Queen's Road, drove at excessive speed and took his hands off the handlebar on July 14. The charge states he removed his hands to "place them behind his back in order to make 'V' signs at other motorists".

Sentence has been further deferred until December 19.
