Limited Edition Black & Gold Cagiva Mito announced

Nippy two-stroke 916-a-like gets a makeover

Mito ... the stuff of schoolboy dreams

A LIMITED edition run of the Mito 125 has been produced in a stunning Black Gold paint scheme and will arrive in the UK during October, bringing some much needed Latin heat as the weather cools down. The UK allocation for this version is only 30 pieces and as the price will be GBP 3,499 OTR, which is 200 quid less than the standard Mito.

The Mito is a 17 year old's dream, with many details inherited from more than a decade of experience in the world of racing. The rev counter, water temperature gauge and service lights are mounted in an ultra light polyurethane support and the steering damper is positioned parallel with top yoke.

The Mito's 125cc 2-stroke engine is supplied restricted to a learner-legal 15bhp, but can be de-restricted to produce 34bhp (for full licence holders or track use).

The Mito Black Gold uses top quality components to ensure competition level handling and braking. The front brakes are 320 mm Brembo floating disks with Brembo 4-piston calliper and a single fixed disk with Brembo calliper at the rear. Marzocchi 40mm upside down forks, a Sachs rear shock absorber and aluminium double extruded beam frame work with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres to give class leading handling. Dry Weight is a modest 129kgs.

The Mito Black Gold will arrive in UK dealerships during October priced at GBP 3,499 on the road while stocks last.
