A MOTORCYCLIST has been banned from driving for 56 days after he was caught speeding on the M6 motorway

Matthew Sanders, 37, was caught by police travelling at 121mph on the M6 northbound in September this year, a court heard.

Sanders, from St Andrews, Fife, was also ordered to pay a £290 fine, plus £50 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge (who's the victim - Ed).

Sanders' solicitor said his client had accelerated hard on his Triumph Sprint 1050 in order to catch two cars ahead and shelter in their slipstream.

Mmmm. At least he's not inside for Xmas.
