FIVE students from Norway have built an exotic electric sports bike that has a chassis that weighs less than 25kg and is capable of 112mph.

Named the Roskva, the lightweight electric bike utilises carbon fibre in its construction with a self-supporting frame, wheels, drive system and swing arm all made out of the desirable material.

The sporty prototype uses two electric motors and has a claimed output of 92bhp and 59 ft/lbs of torque. The range before charging the Roskva machine is 62 miles.
