SEEMS former Guns'n'Roses axeman Slash is having a clear out and getting rid of some of his bike-related stuff. Including a not-at-all-rock-n-roll unidentified scooter.
Hundreds of bits of Slash memorabilia are being auctioned in March via www.juliensauctions.com – you can even bid on them online. As well as some of his guitars, hats and various “assorted smoking implements” he's flogging this scooter and a Harley Night Rod.
Even the auctioneers haven't attempted to name the scooter, only giving a VIN which identifies its country of origin as China. We're not sure if the blue flame paint job is original or something added later. However, it's estimate makes it one of the cheapest items in the auction, as its expected to go for between $200 and $400. Or around $200-$400 more than it's worth.
Conversely, they're expecting the Night Rod to make up to $10,000, and several of Slash's motorcycle jackets, also on offer, are expected to reach as much as $1200 each. Or how about one of his old licence plates – GNR-1 – which carries an estimate of $300-$500.
Over to you; what is that scooter?
