VIDEO: Robbie Knievel breaks late father's record

Legend's son dedicates jump to his father and all US war veterans

Blink and you'll miss it...

ROBBIE KNIEVEL son of the legendary Evel Knievel has broken his own father's record by jumping over 24 buses at a theme park at Kings Island amusement park near Cincinnati.

Evel Knievel jumped 115 feet over 14 buses at Kings Island in 1975 in an event that was watched by more than half of the nation's television viewers.

Evel passedaway last year at the age of 69 after suffering from a degenerating lung disease.

Robbie Knievel dedicated his stunt to his father, US war veterans and those serving in the military.

Knievel, 46, is now considering a future attempt at jumping the Snake River Canyon on the Snake River near Twin Falls, Idaho, a feat his father failed at in 1974.
