SCOTT REDDING the winner of last year's 125cc British Grand Prix has attained his CBT on his 16th birthday.
Redding became the youngest-ever winner of a Grand Prix when he rode to victory at Donington Park in June 2008. He told BBC News he found the experience quite unnerving compared to riding his 140mph race bike aorund some of the world's most challenging circuits:
"It's a whole different ball game from the road to the circuit. On the road you've got to be so much more careful because there's other people driving and riding. It's not like you're all going the same way. You've got oncoming traffic, you've got traffic lights to contend with, not just going in a circuit."
