Isle of man TT: Maxxis become TT tyre partner

Maxxis ... supplying tyres, not girls, to the island

TYRE manufacturer Maxxis has been named as the Official Tyre Partner for the 2008 Isle of Man TT Races, which take place between May 24th and Saturday, June 7th.

However, this doesn't mean John McGuinness will be setting 130mph laps on Maxxis tyres, but all official vehicles for the TT event, including the infamous flying marshals, will be riding bikes fitted with Maxxis tyres.

Chris McGahan, who is sponsored by Sam Crossett Motorcycles, will be on the start line for the Relentless Supersport and SLI Superstock races and will be putting his Maxxis tyres through their paces aboard the new 2008 Yamaha R6. Good luck, Chris.

What do you guys that went to the TT think of the MAXXIS girls?

Also the maxxis tyre cards the girls gave out could you please give feed back!
