A 59-YEAR-OLD British biker who flew to America to take part in a charity bike ride has been refused entry by immigration officials who thought he was a Hells Angel.
Bill Singleton, 59, collected ÂŁ3,000 in sponsorship for the 7,000-mile trip from Montana to Alaska in aid of a deaf children's charity. But when he arrived at Denver Airport staff suspected he was heading to a notorious biker rally. The window cleaner whose daughter, her husband and their baby girl are deaf was quizzed for five hours.
Bill believes customs grew suspicious after finding his wallet had a wolf's head logo a symbol linked to US Angels. When officials discovered he had a conviction for assaulting a policeman 38-years-ago they put him on a UK flight. Bill said at home in Harpenden, Herts: âI am devastated. I'd never be in the Hells Angels.â
Oh, the land of the free... the home of the cowardly immigration wannabe Nazis...
