HERE WE have the rider who launched himself, along with his bike, off of the side of a cliff and lived to tell the tale.
The incident was captured by the rider's friend, David Park, on a helmet-cam whilst riding in Southern California’s Angeles National Forest. The clip shows Park clambering down the side of the cliff in an attempt to help his friend before finding him conscious and entangled in the bushes below.
Surprisingly the rider only suffered a fractured shoulder and was airlifted to hospital.
