Canadian bikes are a good as BMWs!

Because the data is based on real evidence and so obviously not people voting for their favourite bike.....

Hi FRO. It's more than just a vote on which manufacturer people think is the most reliabile. The survey was based on reported failure rates of 12,300 real motorcycles. Details here: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2015/04/who-makes-the-most-relia...

Consumer Report collects data from owners directly.
It's not rocket science to conclude BMW has a reliability problem tied to poorly tested designs.

BMW have had reliability problems for a long time. The bike media were deluged with complaints when the 1200 twins came out and much of that clever electrical stuff failed very quickly, the 650 singles that BMW made themselves are pretty bad as well, the original old (and reliable)reliable ones were made by Aprilia oddly enough.Triumphs aren't much better, again the old ones are great but too many of the newer models are deeply flawed.
