Aussie racer looks to World Superbikes as he prepares to wave goodbye to MotoGP
VISORDOWN'S Aprilia mole has just told us that Chris Vermeulen has started talks with the Italian factory, about riding the company's RSV4 in World Superbikes next year.
Apparently, the Aussie former World Supersport Champion is being talked about as a possible team-mate to four-time world 250GP champion Max Biaggi on the Aprilia as a replacement for the departing Shinya Nakano, who leaves the squad next year.
The RSV4 has had some incredible success in its first year in WSB at the hands of Biaggi. Not expected to break into the top six after a poor pre-season testing session the bike, in the hands of the Roman, has already been a podium finisher four times this year.
