HERE ARE the times from the morning World Superbike test at Portimao. James Toseland, who has been riding Ben Spies' R1, has been clocking times of around 1m46s and has not yet made the top 10. However, Toseland's times look promising as he gets to grips with his setup having arrived from his long-haul flight from Malaysia.

Portimao World Superbike test times:

1. Rea (Honda) 1:43.137
2. Haga (Ducati) 1:43.555
3. Biaggi (Aprilia) 1:43.972
4. Fabrizio (Ducati) 1:44.105
5. Guintoli (Suzuki) 1:44.125
6. Crutchlow (Yamaha) 1:44.139
7. Haslam (Suzuki) 1:44.181
8. Lascorz (Kawasaki) 1:44.591
9. Camier (Aprilia) 1:44.629

Our man at the track has said that even though Toseland has never ridden at Portimao, he was on the pace within just 10 laps

What????

eojmo
He will need time to regain his confidence after failing in his bid to do well in Moto Gp.

He should retire and avoid further embarrassment.

Oh well not in the top ten YET!!!

Who cares as far as i'm concerned james is cool he's a good rider he's been to the top of where you can go with bikes.

He is now going to have to get his head together and fight against some tough competition in WSB with Rea MaxB and poor old Nitro! not forgetting our english boys Haslam Shane etc etc....

Come on Jmaes shut these critics up at the end of the day if they were any good then they would be riding aginst you or be faster and better than Rossi Stoner Lorenzo and Pedrosa.. Dont think thats going to happen...
