Toseland looking at Brno return

Former champion to assess fitness in first practice session

JAMES TOSELAND will attempt to comeback this weekend at Brno if he is able to complete the first practice session

The former two-time World Superbike champion will assess his fitness in Friday practice to see how his wrist responds. Toseland has been missing from racing since his accident in testing at Aragon in February, he attempted to return earlier at Monza and Miller, but his injured wrist prevented him from riding to his full ability.

Should the Brit be unable to ride Lorenzo Lanzi, who replaced him at Misano and Aragon, is on standby to take his place.

I think he's past last chance to be honest. Never been the same since Moto GP...needs to call it a day..

Yeah, me too, to a certain extent. I dunno what happened, he just seems to have lost the edge...or maybe, like the rest of us, he's getting old...

Come on guys...He's still young compared with the likes of Biaggi - almost 10 years older! He's busted a wrist....he just needs it to heal and a bit of positive thinking! - possibly kicking himself too much over motogp.....well Superbikes is better anyway!

He had last year on the factory yamaha as well though and didn't really do anything but be injured most of the season. I really hope he gets it all back together though. Maybe a stink in BSB might help him back to form. Like shakey, kiyo and hopper seem to be doing

Seem Mobus has hit the snail on the leg...he had a full factory ride and didn't shine. Maybe a stint in BSB could be the way to go, as you say, certainly done Hopper no end of good, and kaizenkowboy, let's not do the "motogp is shit" thing AGAIN...that horse is well and truly flogged.
