VISORDOWN was the first to predict the news that James Toseland was off to World Superbikes in 2010 and now it's been confirmed that the outgoing MotoGP man will be able to ride the Yamaha R1 at the Portimao WSB tests, on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28th October, despite having one more MotoGP race to go to complete the season.
Toseland will have a quick time-zone change to complete to undertake his Portuguese tests on the Yamaha World Superbike R1, as he will be racing at Sepang in Malaysia on Sunday 25 - the same day as the World Superbike championship will reach its exciting climax.
Toseland is scheduled to test alongside his new team-mate, Cal Crutchlow.
