FORMER XEROX DUCATI WSB boss Davide Tardozzi has all but signed to join the official BMW World Superbike team - that's the news being touted by Italian website Motosprint this morning.
Tardozzi, a former Ducati stalwart with almost twenty years service under his belt, resigned from the team at the end of last season, claiming he was seeking new personal challenges.
It's believed Ducati’s former tech and track engineer Max Bertolini, who jumped ship to BMW WSB last year, has been working behind the scenes with Tardozzi to secure the move.
Expect an official announcement before WSB testing starts at Portimao, January 22th-24th.
