TEN KATE Honda man Jonathan Rea was quickest in the morning session, at the final day's official WSB test in Portimao, Portugal, earlier today.

The Irishman pipped Alstare Suzuki's Leon Haslam to the top slot by just 1/1000th second; Xerox Ducati man Noriyuki Haga posted the third quickest time of the morning session, beating team-mate and rival Michel Fabrizio by 2/100ths of a second.

Britain's James Toseland languished down in 14th place; the Sterilgarda Yamaha man was over 1.5 secs down on Rea's morning best.

Rea continued his dominance during Sunday afternoon, with fellow Brits leon Haslam and Shane Byrne following in second and third place. Cal Crutchlow kept up his strong weekend performance, finishing the day in fifth place. Crutchlow's team-mate, James Toseland, improved dramatically on his disappointing morning performance, ending the day in sixth position.
