FRENCHMAN Loris Baz will be taking Joan Lascorz's seat in the Kawasaki Racing Team for the Donington Park and Salt Lake City World Superbike rounds.

Taking Lascorz's place in the official Kawasaki team, after the Spaniard suffered spinal injuries in a testing crash, Baz will be making his WSB debut in a promotion from the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup, where he scored second place in the opening round at Imola on the MRS Racing Kawasaki.

Despite his young age, the 19-year-old Frenchman joins the team with plenty of experience: endurance racing, including a third place finish at the Le Mans 24hours last year, British Superbike, IDM, Superstock 1000 and 600.
