KAWASAKI WORLD Superbike squad have confirmed Simon Andrews will replace injured Chris Vermeulen at this weekend's FIM Superbike World Championship races at Valencia.
Aussie Vermeulen is still recovering from surgery to rectify knee injuries sustained in the opening round of the 2010 WSB season at Phillip Island. The former MotoGP sat out the second round of the championship at Portimao.
Andrews, 26, from Evesham, said:
"I had a good test with the team recently and get on well with everyone so I'm confident of a good result as the bike is great."
