JOHN HOPKINS' condition after his horrific fall at the Nurburgring round of the WSB Championship on Sunday, when he was run over after tumbling off his Stiggy Honda, is said to have left the Anglo/American in excruciating pain.

A statement from his mum Linda said: "John and Ashleigh arrived in San Francisco an hour ago. Dr Ting is on his way to the hotel to make sure he is comfortable for the night. He will arrive there first thing in the morning for a complete evaluation.

"John has told me he has excruciating pain in his head that is generating down his neck and shoulder and into his ribs."

We wish John a speedy recovery.

Give it up, man. God is trying to tell you to stay off the bike. Every time you start to get up to speed, you get really messed up. You've been injured more in two years than Colin or Nicky have in their entire careers. Know when enough is enough.
