LEON HASLAM has said that he will be staying in WSB for another season.

The battling Brit admitted that he wants to stay with the Stiggy squad for 2010, saying: “I really enjoy riding for them and we’ve had some good results this season. I certainly feel as though I’m improving there and I know I can run up front and challenge for the lead when we get the right set-up.”

Haslam wouldn’t talk about the rumours that Stiggy is about to drop the association with Honda in favour of Yamahas for 2010, but despite the rider’s coyness about the machinery switch, as revealed first on visordown.com, the hot topic of conversation in the WSB paddock is the supposed change by the Stiggy squad.

Haslam on Yamaha in 2010? Now that would really be an interesting combination, and suddenly seem like a very sensible option to have him alongside another young Brit who goes well on the R1... Leon Camier anyone?
