AFTER splitting with the Liberty Racing team less than a week ago, Sylvain Guintoli will return to the WSB championship aboard the Pata Racing Ducati.
The split came under bizarre circumstances as Guintoli blamed budgetary reasons, as the team were unable to pay his crew or supply him with a bike, but Liberty accused the WSB race-winner of deliverying poor results, despite being the most successful rider for the Czech-based team.
Announcing the ride on his Twitter feed, Guintoli said: "I will be back on the Ducati 1198 in Silverstone. Thanks to Team Pata & Ducati."
It's not known whether Guintoli will line-up alongside the team's current rider, WSB rookie Lorenzo Zanetti, or if the Italian has been dropped for the Frenchman for next month's Silverstone round.
