CHAZ DAVIES opened a winning streak as he won his second World Supersport race in a row at Monza.
Onboard the Yamaha YZF-R6 Davies translated his pole position on the grid to dominate the race leading from the start to finish - with an impressive lead of four seconds over his teammate Luca Scassa. Davies commented on his victory: "I hadn’t won a race in World Supersport and now two in a row – that’s a pretty amazing feeling. I just can’t say enough good things about my Yamaha and my team, everything has been perfect since Friday.
"I was pretty confident all weekend that I had the perfect race package and I’m delighted with the win. I am really happy with my bike and the results I have achieved so far." he concluded.
Chaz ended his weekend’s performance in perfect manner recording the fastest lap time of 1’48.526 on his way to victory, a win that moves him in joint first in the championship on 70 points alongside teammate Scassa.
