2009 BSB champ stands in for injured Nakano on RSV4
NEWLY CROWNED British Superbike Champion Leon Camier is to replace injured Shinya Nakano on the Aprilia RSV4 Factory for the remaining two rounds of the 2009 World Superbike Championship.Camier has enjoyed a storming season in the BSB championship; the 22-year-old has taken 17 race victories on his Airwaves YZF-R1, as well as securing the manufacturer's title for Yamaha.
Reigning 250cc World Champion Marco Simoncelli stood in for Nakano on the Aprilia at Imola last weekend: the Italian scored a DNF and an impressive third.
