'I'm from Morecambe!' Amusing blunder on the entry list for the guest Superstock race at the British MotoGP round

THE ENTRY LIST for the British Superstock round at Silverstone reveals an interesting new nationality, as it appears that Morecambe have separated themselves from the British government to form their own country.

John McGuinness will make a wildcard appearance in the National Superstock round alongside some of the top British Superbike regulars including Josh Brookes and the returning Simon Andrews.

Be interesting to see the flag flown on the podium if McGuinness makes it there.

Could it be that they did it so that their "favorite son" would not have to go clear over to Mona's Isle to practice? 

Maybe the "Isle of Morecambe TT" are in the works... 

If I were Steampacket, I'd be worried.... VERY worried...

what you don't see from the convenient way this pictrure's been taken is that that's actually a list of home towns (yes i know it says nationality) and josh brookes is actually the only rider to have a country listed there. is this really your idea of news VD?
