Stoner: 'We'll fix arm pump'

At first I agreed with most thinking it was his tires... but after thinking about it, this little guy usually does the least amount of laps during testing and probably did get arm pump cause of conditioning.

Awesome race, not sure I can rely on Dani to break up Jlo and Stoner as leaders but would love to see him win the championship. I hope Cal continues to charge, spies picks up the pace and rides Jlo and Stoner's rears and picks up at least 4 w's. I love a good come back story and hope Hayden or Rossi get it together to get on the podium.

When qualifying didn't go as planned, it was chatter. Whenever Stoner loses, it's always the fault of something else. He claims he had arm pump from around lap 4, which you think would lead to a gradual loss of pace, not the rather dramatic and sudden drop of 0.6 seconds per lap that happened only in the dying laps.

Disregarding his "explanations", I reckon tyres going off is a much more likely cause.

Great rider, bad winner, worse loser.

Quite frankly it's the "whinging little shits" always moaning about Stoner that really irritate. What's your problem?

Right now, what anyone else says, he looks like the best and fastest rider out there and like ANY other rider, he will analyse his problems and when asked (by the media) he will come up with an answer. SInce he is demonstrably the fastest rider, if his pace drops off, there must be a reason for it. Why would he make up a story about arm pump when it was really tyre wear? Of course he wouldn't. Why does someone have to invent such cock and bull speculation like that just to have another pop at Stoner. It really isn't necessary.

Truth is, Stoner doesn't moan any more than ANY other rider and that includes everyone's obvious favourite, Rossi who has stomped off after a bad race and sulked in his motor home and won't talk to anyone. But everyone forgets this. Was Stoner wrong about the Ducati? Er, doesn't look like it does it.

I've nothing against Rossi, but he IS the master of manipulation. Stoner is just a plain talking Aussie, who happens to be the fastest rider on the planet currently and it seems Rossi fans just can't take it. You don't have to like Stoner, but stop the baseless whinging.
