Stoner bites back at Rossi's criticism
“I don’t care about his opinion. At the moment he is getting his arse kicked by his team-mate.”
Stoner: Not mixing his words
A WAR OF words broke out between Valentino Rossi and former MotoGP champion Casey Stoner at last weekend's Misano MotoGP, after Rossi criticised Stoner's lack of effort during practice.
The bickering started when Rossi commented that Stoner did not work hard enough during practice and the results affected the Australian's race pace come the main event.
In true Aussie straight-talking style, Stoner responded, saying: “I don’t care about his opinion. At the moment he is getting his arse kicked by his team-mate.”
Thankfully, the difference of opinion wasn't displayed in a face-to-face stand-off.

You would have to ask stoner one thing.. Apart from one or two decent races for the greater part of this year Stoner has been outperformed by Hayden. Rossi has not been uninjured at any point so far this season but he is getting back up there. So Rossi's excuse for being beaten by his team mate is injury, What is Stoner's?

Stoner is such a little bitch! Rossi is getting his ass kicked because he broke his friggin leg! Is Stoner retarded or what? Now, Rossi is getting the lead bike at Ducati and Stoner is going to Honda, why are they getting rid of one for the other? Simple, Stoner can't improve the Ducati anymore. And this probably bothers the hell out of this Aussi whino brat.

Brilliant, Stoner is such a muppet, Rossi still has one leg totally mullered and a dodgy shoulder and he still beats the little whinger. How to show someone is getting to you. Well done Casey, great job. Next year Rossi will show Skippy what you can do with a ducati if you know how to develop a bike, instead of sitting in the pit lane and moaning about it.

Rossi is getting whiped by his team mate and was before the broken leg. I'm a big Rossi fan ,but let's face it ,he's getting older and there are a lot of younger ,hungry riders coming up. He can't stay on top forever, even though most of his fans seem to think he can. Sorry,It just aint going to happen! Rossi was the darling of the media but is quickly being replaced as favourite by Lorenso. Stoner is a fantastic rider but he isn't a flamboyant clown like Rossi or Lorenso, so the media portray him as a whinger. I dont believe everything the media tells me,unlike some brainless drones. I've met Stoner and watched him ride, and he's a friendly down to earth guy who is often wrongly quoted by the media. Anybody who has watched Hayden's and Stoner's Ducati's shaking around in the corners would understand that only the best and determind riders could hang on for a full race, let alone get one to a podium finish. Pedrosa is another quite, down to earth rider who the media ignore even though he wins races. The media loves flamboyant, colourful and attention seeking clowns, not just good riders.Always have, always will! They sell papers and magazines, and the end game, lots of products and merchandice.

Stoner is just envious about Rossi..... CS complained about VR getting the media attention when VR broke his leg, meanwhile CS didn't get as much media attention when he got injured... Rossi proved with Yamaha about his talent and skills....what has CS proved to Ducati? talk the talk and walk the walk CS don't just sit and whine. I agree with Baker....inevitably Rossi has to move over for the younger riders....still, will he be beaten (by records of total Wins?) I doubt it. What's interesting is that Hayden and Rossi are team mates again, NH was 2nd at Honda, he is 2nd to CS at Ducati, now if VR comes to Ducati next year...will he be 1st or 2nd rider? can he make a change to Ducati compared to CS and NH? If VR can.....CS will have HIS arse beaten by Ducati and Rossi.

Submiester WB: What has CS proved to Ducati? Oh gee, lets see, won the world title, won on Ducati's home track - who else has managed to do that on the Duc at the MotoGP?? Oh and I guess Chuba (Lorenzo) is now the new G.O.A.T f*ker..

p baker - sadly it is Stoner's whole attitude during interviews on the TV where he comes accross as a whiner and moaner. One poster mentioned Sheene, for sure he could moan but at least he did it with a sense of humour. I think he may be twatted next year as it looks like Dani has at last got the Honda working for him, Lorenzo will still be up there and don't doubt Rossi, new challenge which always fires him up.

Face it, Stoner's a whinger. Rossi can act like a spoilt brat himself sometimes (remember his Lorenzo or me comments)? I don't really rate Rossi, he's good but I don't think he's any more talented then anyone else out there, just stronger mentality and where would he be without Burgess? So was Stoner, but something changed after his mystery illness. Personally I get fed up hearing Stoner whine, his comments after a race (cannot remember where)he was whining that people were going to fast in the first few laps! I spat my coffee across the room in merryment at that one lol.

1. Can any of you ride as quick as Stoner or Rossi, or any proffessional racer? Didn't think so. Quit hanging crap on them for being human and expressing their opinion. 2. Every rider is out there doing their best. If one is beaten by their team-mate, thats racing, it happens! 3. These guys put their lives on the line everytime they ride; all you guys risk is obesity from sitting on your ass. These guys you put crap on provide you with the racing you love! Show some respect. Tomizawa died on the weekend, doing his best. Are you going to call him crap coz he crashed, or couldn't set up a bike or couldn't be perfect? It is very easy to watch these guys on TV and be critical if one crashes alot, cannot setup a bike, doesn't get on with their team-mates, etc. Put yourself in their shoes, I can guarantee people would be just as horrible to you as you are to these real MotoGP riders.

Stoner is a MotoGP World Champion. Valentino Rossi is a multiple MotoGP World Champion. Those who call Stoner a whinger, have you read your posts at all? You whinge more than all the MotoGP riders all together!

Quote [Are you serious NORWICHBOR ? I haven't heard that one before...If that is the case and he said that then i am starting to believe he is a whinger]. Yep, he said it at Indianapolis if I remember rightly, after the race. He seemed to, imply, that was why he crashed lol. Stoner is very talented, you cannot deny that. But he is a whinger!

Stoner may whinge more than other riders, but he is a talent. You are all bitches! You are all gossipping about people like a bunch of narky women!

Forget the injury/broken leg cop outs. Once you jump on that bike and take your spot on the grid, there's no excuses Also someone was pointing differences of being a number one / number two rider. Not much can be read into that either. Stoner won the championship as the number 2 rider in his first year for Ducati on a bike that was largely developed around Caparossi over a number of years. Finally regarding Stoner's whining, my observations at the post race interviews THIS season is that he's been particularly gracious and congratulatory to the riders who've finished in front of him conceding Jorge, deani etc have been too fast and too good. You have to give credit, it's an improvement on previous years.

@Rebecca: quote from MotoGPfan "Stoner is a MotoGP World Champion.
Valentino Rossi is a multiple MotoGP World Champion." That's what I call proving yourself. Not tryin to be biased...but I'd love to see NH succeed again as WC....or even The Texas Tornado.... After reading all the comments above, I agree with MotoGPfan...profesionally on Stoner and any other racer, they're all doing their best....but personnaly?? maybe we should sit back and read the SUBJECT of this thread...as a professional racer...CS should and could say "hey mate...thanks for the critic....I'll work on it..."...instead of saying what he said. Eager to watch next years' races and results...
