BEN SPIES former business manager, Doug Gonda, has had a 1.9-million dollar law suit upheld against the MotoGP rookie despite an appeal.
The short summer break proved costly to Ben Spies, when an appeal against a judgement went against him, upholding the previous award of 1.9-million US dollar to his former manager Doug Gonda for breach of contract.
Spies’ mother/manager Mary Spies said: “I am waiting for legal clearance, then I’ll be able to tell our side of the story.”
