More bad news for Ducati... no improvement

No improvement???

What test are you watching then? Because it's not this one Mike....VR said today that they've fixed 50% of the issues they had with the bike last year. Given that this evolution of it was chucked together in 4 months, and the feed back and lap times it's doing are FAR above anything from last year, I reckon it's actually all going as well as can be expected, if not a little better..

HMMMM. Stoner and Spies, and there all on new bikes not just Ducati

Pagik, perhaps you need a lesson is maths, first day Rossi ended +0.735 behind, after today he is +0.991 behind, now in my book that is not an improvement over day one, which was the point I was trying to make. With a completely new bike there will be more to come for sure, but check out the time last year, and over the course of the year look to see how much they made up, being 1 second behind even on a new bike in my view doesn't look good, and you can be sure there is more to come out of the Honda, but time will tell, I might have to eat my words, we will see.

We certainly shall :D :D

Given that last year VR was 1.8 seconds off the pace last year at this time, I think that the fact this bike is 0.6 quicker out of the box is a marked improvement. Casey's just trying to stamp his authority early doors, we all know he's blisteringly fast. He's just making sure we all know it. Without a doubt there's more to come from the Honda, and the Yamaha's, and the Ducati's.

I'm not making excuses, trust me, if the GP12 was shite, I'd be the first one to be harping on about it. But, the fact that it's been thrown together in essentially 4 months, and is 0.6 quicker, and the riders are saying it's a marked improvement on last year can only (IMO) be taken to be a real positive test for Ducati this time around.

I dunno what to make of all this. If IF Suzuki do go the CRT route, I reckon it would be a bit of a shame. But I can understand the reasons,...
