Yep nice to have it back and amazing run from Cal, absolutely stunning, if he can keep a good pace this year then with a little luck I reckon he'll do well.
As for Ducati, I CAN see them being happy with those times, Honda and Yamaha have based their bikes on the already tried and tested 800cc bikes and they've developed the 1000s over the last year, they've already been on track several times before and are now being refined.
The Ducati has just had it's first baptism of fire in a public test. It's done bloody well for a bike that only existed as a CAD diagram less than a month ago.
I think once they start refining it then it'll pick up and go faster. Nicky will go a lot faster once he's properly better. I think he'll have wanted to ride it and get a feel fore the changes more than anything, I'd guess he's still in a fair bit of pain.
The biggest surprise for me has been Yamaha, they really seem to have put a decent bike together.
This is the first day of the test though, and things do tend to swap about. It'll be interesting to see what Stoner puts down as he just seems to go fast or not at all, so a Stoner lap would maybe put the pace on the board a bit quicker.
