MotoGP champ plays down F1 switch, despite clocking 'qualifying' time in two-day test
FOLLOWING HIS successful two-day test in a Ferrari F1 car, reigning MotoGP Valentino Rossi insists he is not about to switch to Formula One.
"Tomorrow I am a MotoGP rider again," the nine-time world champ insisted.
The Italian impressed onlookers as he posted a seriously impressive time at the Circuit de Catalunya; Rossi best time of 1:21.9 was only 0.3 seconds off Kimi Raikkonen's outright lap record of 1:21.67, set in the same car.
"When I could come to F1, I will be too old. There are wonderful drivers there. I'm fine in my world, which is bikes.
"This is just a diversion, some fun, and I am grateful to everybody for the opportunity," said Rossi.
