VALENTINO ROSSI will test ride a Ducati Desmosedici GP10 the day after the final MotoGP race of the 2010 season at Valencia - that's the latest surrounding the nine-time world champion's defection to Ducati.Sources in the Italian press say Fiat Yamaha has granted Rossi the chance to ride the Ducati at the post-season test, despite it conflicting with Rossi's Yamaha contract.Even though we've heard a gaggle of 'World Exclusives' (aka unconfirmed rumours) about Rossi's defection to the Italian marque, official confirmation that Rossi has signed to ride for Ducati in 2011 has yet to be announced. It's expected an official statement will be made in August following the Czech GP at Brno.
