VALENTINO ROSSI'S life-long buddy Alesso “Uccio” Salucci has been confirmed as a new Moto2 team owner for 2011.

The news, announced at Phillip Island MotoGP, will see Salucci's new team running current series star Andrea Iannone.

Various media sources had suggested Rossi himself would head up the new squad.

Wonder who'll now hand Rossi his cap, drink and shades in parc ferme next year now Uccio's otherwise engaged?

What's this, gramma correction on Visordown. You should have worked on the magazine Toss er.

Can't remember exactly, but I think the exclamation mark is OK inside the inverted commas. Read 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' I think it's in there.
