VALENTINO ROSSI has said he's "feeling much stronger" following the mid-season MotoGP break and is aiming for a strong finish to the 2010 season.

The Italian, who's recovering from a broken right leg and injured shoulder, says he's been working on getting back in shape for the rest of the 2010 season. Rossi injured his shoulder in a motocross training accident three months ago and suffered compound fractures to his right lower leg when he crashed in practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello, just over two months ago.

"I've had a good break and it's helped me a lot to have this time to work on my physical condition. I'm feeling good about my leg and my shoulder and I hope that this weekend I'll be feeling much stronger. Brno is a great track for me and it's always special because it's the first place I ever won at. Last year I had a great race, this year will be harder because I'm not completely fit yet but I am looking forward to getting back on the bike. We have half the season still to go and our aim is to have a good second half!"

MotoGP is back on TV this coming weekend, when the series heads to Brno, Czech Republic.

It's expected Rossi will make an official announcement about his much-rumoured defection to Ducati in 2011.
