ACCORDING to Carmelo Ezpeleta, Valentino Rossi will be on a competitive bike and back fighting for the win next year, but does this mean he will be back on a Honda?

Speaking exclusively to OmniCorse.it at the Valencia F1 Grand Prix, the boss of Dorna said: "I am calm. Valentino will be riding a competitive bike next year, but I can't tell you what it is. It is still too early to talk about: in 2013 we will see Rossi fight for the win... again."

As Casey Stoner is stepping out of MotoGP next season, the speculation on Honda's line-up for 2013 has been vibrant. The latest rumours leaving Italy have Marc Marquez already signed up with Repsol Honda, as the Rookie Rule is all but certain to be abolished at Assen, with Rossi returning to the keep the HRC camp in winning contention, whilst helping to nurture the Spaniard's talent in the top flight.

It.... Just.... Wont..... Stop.... Argghhhh!!

The latest I've heard suggest he's going to be on a Ducati YamaDuke powered by a HRC V4 oiled with only the freshest Cheetah blood.

I went MASSIVELY cold turkey in last years offseason, so as much as speculating about next year is fun. I'd rather watch this season while it's still here :)

On a media note, I'm not loosing the irony of how some sites (not VD) bash the media for writing about every twist and turn of Rossi, but continue to do it themselves because it's their most read content...

In my opinion, this is just the guy who makes a lot of money from MotoGP, trying to stoke the usual Rossi fires that gets everyone talking due to the fact that the guy who is the most fun to watch in GP is now leaving.

And Rob M 9, Cheetah blood? Are you serious? That's so 31 seconds ago, I hear that Ducati are now working on harnessing gypsy tears to oil the bike.

Hmm Gypsy tears, that might just work. I'm hearing as a temporary measure they're considering putting a bag of sugar on each side of the front axle to get a bit more weight on the wheel!

Good comments y'all!

Yeah , and then if it rains the sugar will turn into a gluey substance, drip onto the front tire and all the front end handleing problems will be solved ,Gona apply for a pattent straight away .

Cheers Rob!!

Tire = tyre     handleing = handling     Gona = going to     pattent = patent.

Savvy baby, you'll need to do better than this! Stop playing with yourself willya?

Cheers old buddy. See you midweek if your bike's fixed?

Ezpeleta just reeks of stink and slime. Ecclestone is worse but at least he's a bit more coy about it. Whenever you read a quote from Ezpeleta you get a picture in your head of him rubbing two gold coins together while he's speaking just hoping a third pops out of thin air.

I'm waiting to hear next week that Rossi and Marquez will be the only two riders allowed on prototypes next year while everyone else "gets to make the transition to CRT".

P.S. This is in no way an attack on Rossi himself.

Rossi is boy.
Marquez is girl.
