A PREVIEW video has been released showing the planned facility for the new circuit in Chile.
The South American country has hopes of hosting a MotoGP event in the near future, with the Motorpark Santiago circuit. The track is being designed by Hermann Tilke with 1993 500GP champion Kevin Schwantz taking on a consulting role.
Motorpark is a 180-hectare development that is being designed in accordance with both the FIA and FIM homologation standards. Alongside the main circuit there are additional plans for a motocross circuit and a 1.4km kart track.
