VALENTINO Rossi broke his leg during Mugello FP2 at one of the fast downhill chicances in the pre-qualifying session. Rossi was airlifted to hospital to undergo surgery on his leg, while his trusty M1 was carted back to the Fiat Yamaha garage to undergo some serious surgery too.
