REPSOL HONDA man Dani Pedrosa underwent successful surgery over the Christmas break to remove a screw from his left wrist.
The screw was initially put in place following a pre-2009 season test crash at Losail circuit earlier this year. The latest operation, conducted by Dr Xavier Mir, will allow the Spaniard more movement in his left wrist.
Pedrosa's operation was deemed a success; the diminutive GP smurf left hospital the following day and will embark on a course of physiotherapy in the next fornight.
The Repsol star hopes to be fully fit for the first official 2010 MotoGP test on February 4th, Malaysia.
