DESPITE Dani Pedrosa's hard-fought win, Jorge Lorenzo gained the most from Sachsenring - with a second-place finish and a much-needed 20-points after his disasterous first-corner at Assen.

Lorenzo jumps back to the top of the championship standings and Pedrosa's result overhauls Stoner's claim to current number one factory Honda rider.

Crutchlow's run-on in the first corner gifts Dovizioso some breathing space. More than ever, it's looking like being a three-horse race for the MotoGP championship.
