MotoGP 2015: championship standings after Jerez

Championship standings after the fourth MotoGP round of 2015

JORGE Lorenzo leaves Jerez with a full 25 points and moves up to third in the 2015 MotoGP championship standings behind Andrea Dovizioso.

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP's Lorenzo has moved up the standings to third, only five points behind Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso. Italian Valentino Rossi remains at the top of the standings after another podium finish to place him 15 points ahead of Dovizioso.

Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez is in fourth place, 26 points adrift of Movistar Yamaha's Rossi with 14 rounds left of the 2015 MotoGP season.

Marquez's team-mate Dani Pedrosa has not taken part in the past three races and therefore has dropped down the standings to 14th. Pedrosa is expected to make a return at Le Mans on May 17.
