MotoGP 2014: Championship standings after Indianapolis

No surprise as to who is at the top of the standings...

WITH ten consecutive premier class wins from the beginning of the 2014 season, Marc Marquez has a maximum 250-points and could win the Championship by Aragon if the Spaniard wins the next four races.

Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi remain second and third respectively in the standings with Rossi only 4-points behind as Jorge Lorenzo regains fourth from Dovizioso who drops to fifth.

Rookie Pol Espargaro sits comfortably in sixth position as his older brother and Open Class rider Aleix is 30-points adrift.

Briton's Scott Redding and Cal Crutchlow are in 12th and 13th respectively.

Unable to attend the Indianapolis round and his 'home Grand Prix' as he is recovering from wrist surgery, Nicky Hayden drops from 13th to 15th.
