JORGE Lorenzo is on pole at Laguna Seca for the USGP. Lorenzo, Stoner and Pedrosa were battling it out through all the free practice sessions and just 0.183 seconds split the top three in qualifying.
Rossi improved through all sessions and starts from seventh on the grid and Crutchlow starts from 10th, 1.183 seconds off Lorenzo's pole time.
