FERRARI Formula One driver Felipe Massa has said MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi has been '90 per cent playing' with the idea of a transition to a career in F1.
Questioned in an interview with Italy's Corriere dello Sport newspaper that the MotoGP World Champion was lining up Massa's seat for 2011, the Brazilian responded:
"Of course not. Valentino has been 90 per cent playing, and 10 per cent seeing if he could have a future in cars.
"But at his age it is not so easy to start building up the necessary experience," said Massa.
The news follows hot on the heels of Rossi's third test in an F1 Ferrari. The Italian impresses the team with his close-to-pole lap time in a Barcelona test a fortnight ago.
The saga continues. Will he, won't he?
