REPSOL HONDA have dominated testing at Sepang and continued today with the team taking the top three positions.
Casey Stoner lead team-mates Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso at the end of the second day of testing, the three riders were covered by three-tenths.
The conditions have been perfect today enabling Pedrosa to beat Rossi's best lap of Sepang from 2009 in the morning with a 2:00.229 and Stoner taking the quickest time even further with a 2:00.171.
Rossi was absent from day two due to a fever from the hot temperatures. He arrived at the circuit but returned to his hotel after visiting the Clinica Mobile to rest, hoping to be fit for the final day of testing tomorrow.
The factory Yamaha squad closed out the top five with Ben Spies and Jorge Lorenzo. The appearance of the number T2 Yamaha test rider in the top ten was a result of Lorenzo logging some laps on the test machine.
