Fast-Texan not happy with Bosch electronics on his Suter-BMW

COLIN Edwards has been out on Michele Pirro's Gresini FTR-Honda at Mugello this morning.

Edwards - who is currently riding for Forward Racing on a Suter-BMW - is frustrated with the lack of progress with his S1000RR-engined CRT bike, largely due to the Bosch electronics package causing problems with setup and reliability.

Edwards' team, Forward Racing, have said they are contemplating a change of machinery but Edwards is already looking elsewhere. He was first out on track this morning on the Gresini CRT bike and is thought to also be testing the Avintia Blusens BQR and Aprilia's ART machine today.

Edwards qualified last at Mugello, four-seconds off pole and two seconds off the leading CRT time set by Aleix Espargaro.

Get Colin on an Aspar Aprilia. That's all I'm saying on this.

Yes, the Suter is a bag of junk

Edwards is far better than the other CRT riders.

Far better? He's good, but don't dismiss Espargaro or De Puniet off hand.

I agree that bike of his is a pile of crap, though. Get him a decent machine and we'll see how good the Texas Tornado still is!
