COLIN Edwards has labelled his Forward Racing BMW-Suter as 'a piece of shit'.
Speaking in the pre-race press conference, Edwards, who is clearly frustrated with his current package, said: "My bike's a piece of shit, that's a better way to say it. We had our ass smacked and our balls tickled, it hasn't come to fruition - some of the things we were promised haven't happened. I'm not just trying to race the bike, I'm trying to do 100% of the development."
Edwards tested other CRT machines at Mugello after the MotoGP race and it's likely he'll ditch the BMW for an Aprilia at Indianapolis.
Edwards reckons that CRT is a good idea but the formula isn't quite right. "I feel like I'm spending a lot of time looking behind me, I don't want to get in the way. It needs to be re-thought and something needs to be done."
