"I was able to adapt quickly to the Yamaha and I hope to do it with the Ducati."
THERE has not been an official confirmation that Andrea Dovizioso will ride for factory Ducati next season, but the Italian has all but revealed that he will join the team.
Dovizioso took his fifth podium of the season with third place at Indianapolis and it is an open secret that he will be taking Valentino Rossi's departed seat at Ducati in 2013.
Speaking to GPOne after the race, he said: "No one likes to change, you usually look for stability, but I do not care. I was able to adapt quickly to the Yamaha and I hope to do it with the Ducati."
Dovizioso has been offered a two-year deal by Ducati, but he has asked for reassurances that the Italian manufacturer will recieve heavy-support from their owners. Audi.
The Italian will partner Nicky Hayden and ahead of the Indianapolis race he said that Dovi would be the best choice for Ducati.

Rumours that Cal will stick with Tech 3 seem pretty accurate by the looks of it, and as for him not bringing it out of the bag on race day, he certainly brought it home at the last round!
Redding’s rumoured to be in talks with Gresini now, so we’ll wait and see if you get your wish, Fluke…
